Welcome to The New England Association Directors of Healthcare Volunteer Services home page. Professional involvement with colleagues in volunteer management has never been more important than in today's healthcare environment.

What better way to keep abreast of current volunteer management skills than to join the organization whose mission it is to be responsive to the critical and changing needs of its members. WHAT WE DO.....we sponsor two outstanding educational meetings per year...we publish two regional newsletters you can download from our website.....we keep you abreast of changes in the healthcare field....we recognize excellent and creative volunteer programs....we provide incentives for members to be published in professional journals.

If you are responsible for the administration of volunteer services within your organization or simply have an interest in the field of volunteer management in a health care setting, you are eligible for membership!!!

Michelle Caruso, CAVS is the recipient of the 2009 NEAPE Award. Michelle joins a prestigious group of Award winners including Pat Rowell, Massachusetts General Hospital, Joe Dooley, CAVS Bedford VA Hospital, Sandy Cranford, CAVS, Maine Medical Center, and Millie Stewart, Mid Coast Hospital.

This award is given to members of NEADHVS whose commitment to the organization is exceptional. The award recipients are chosen by the present and former NEADHVS Presidents for service.
