Welcome to The New England Association Directors of Healthcare Volunteer Services home page. Professional involvement with colleagues in volunteer management has never been more important than in today's healthcare environment.

What better way to keep abreast of current volunteer management skills than to join the organization whose mission it is to be responsive to the critical and changing needs of its members. Through educational programs and networking, we continually strive to enhance our abilities in complementing healthcare organization staff so that together we can be responsive to the changing needs of our patients.

WHAT WE DO.....we sponsor two outstanding educational meetings per year...we publish two regional newsletters you can download from our website.....we keep you abreast of changes in the healthcare field....we recognize excellent and creative volunteer programs....we provide incentives for members to be published in professional journals.

If you are responsible for the administration of volunteer services within your organization or simply have an interest in the field of volunteer management in a health care setting, you are eligible for membership!!!

The purpose of the NEADHVS Presidents’ Award is to recognize colleagues as innovative administrators, effective collaborators and for their ability to create “high impact” volunteer programs. The successful applicant(s) will demonstrate how the volunteers, program and/or management technique furthered the mission of the organization.

Save the Date for the NEADHVS Spring Conference

The NEADHVS annual spring conference will take place at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington, Vermont, May 18-20. Save the date! The theme of this year's conference is "Your Ark in Changing Times". Keynote Speaker is Pat Treiber. Her topic is "Service Excellence". Check out the attached flyer for more detail.
