MSDHVS News
Martha Wildman was this year’s recipient of the MSDHVS Directors of Volunteer Excellence Award (DOVE).
Steve Hurd and Martha Wildman both won the New England Team of Stars Award for outstanding service during the spring 2010 NEADHVS conference. This award is given to members of NEADHVS whose commitment to the organization is exceptional. The award recipients are chosen by the present and former NEADHVS Presidents for service. These deserving people are what make NEADHVS the nationally recognized Volunteer Directors organization that it is. We strive to provide our members with the best of services through our website, our listserv, and our two conferences a year which provide outstanding educational and networking opportunities. It takes the work of many dedicated committed and tireless people to provide all of this Martha and Steve certainly stand out in the crowd. Our gratitude and thanks to them for their time and expertise. Congratulations.
Central Maine Medical Center Volunteer Director Sue Bowie received the 2010 Governor’s Service Award for Volunteer Administration from the Maine Commission.
Maine will host NEADHVS in the spring of 2012. Details to come!
